About Jennifer

I am an experienced UKCP registered Psychotherapist, working with adult individuals. My training over 10 years consisted of rigors academic, clinical and personal development work.

I have been working in private practice for over 15 years, based in London W6 and South West London TW1. and I am also a Supervisor & Facilitator at The Center for Psychotherapy and Counselling Education in West London.

My way of working is Integrative, and this means drawing upon a broad range of psychotherapy orientations and therapeutic ways of working. Sometimes this involves using creativity, guided visualisation/ mindfulness based approaches or dream work, to work with deep unconscious processes.

My approach is Trauma informed and I draw upon EMDR/embodied / somatic and IFS approaches to trauma work.

My particular training at the CCPE was from a Humanistic, Transpersonal perspective which encourages the growth of a clients authentic Self at a very deep and spiritual level.

To say more about my background, I trained as a Psychotherapist at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education (CCPE). Qualifying in 2011 and completing my Masters in 2012. Since then I have also completed an Advanced training in Psychotherapy in 2016, clinical training in EMDR, post graduate diploma in Transpersonal Dream work, and a Diploma in Supervision 2022. I have worked in local authority organisations across London such as The Kingston Women's Center and NHS hospitals & mental health departments,before going in to private practice in 2009.

Professionally I am also a Yoga and Meditation teacher, I teach yoga in a trauma informed way. I also I teach yoga workshops and courses on meditation practice for beginners. Along side this, I'm a practitioner of Ashtanga yoga, I enjoy reading most things philosophical and in particular around the Transpersonal and yoga philosophy.
